What StyldBy Is (and Isn't)
- Software only. We connect clients and stylists with profiles, messaging, and delivery tools.
- Not a party to your job. We're not involved in your agreements, pricing, delivery, or scope.
- Direct-pay. Clients pay you directly (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, etc.). StyldBy does not process, hold, or escrow funds.
- No enforcement. We don't set or enforce timelines, verify payments, or decide disputes.
You Run the Show
Define your offer
List clear packages in your profile (looks, revisions, consults/fittings) and state how you deliver (doc, board, or message with links).
Set your own timelines
Share the delivery window you choose and keep your client updated. Timelines are between you and the client.
Direct payment only
Post your payment method and amount. Start when you choose after you confirm payment directly with the client.
Keep records
Save your scope, messages, and delivery files for your own business records and tax needs.
Link-Based Styling (Recommended Format)
Clients are booking your taste. You recommend — they purchase. These patterns keep things clear and shoppable:
Per look
- Look name + 1–2 lines on the vibe
- Items top→bottom with product name, retailer, price, and a direct link
- Fit notes (e.g., runs small) and 1–2 backups for sell-outs
- Optional total spend estimate
Clean links
- Test links on mobile
- Offer region-friendly alternatives when relevant
- If you use affiliate links, disclose per applicable law (your disclosure, your responsibility)
Communication & Scheduling (If Included)
If your package includes a consultation call or virtual fitting, reach out to schedule — your timing, your calendar.

Scope clarity
Keep everything in app messages. Restate scope and what's included in the chosen package. Offer add-ons if needed.
Payments & Receipts (Direct-Pay)
- Clients pay you directly via your listed method. StyldBy doesn't touch funds and doesn't verify payment.
- Use your own process to confirm payment (e.g., last 4 of handle, timestamp, or a receipt screenshot if you choose).
- Refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes are strictly between you and the client.
Revisions & Issues (Your Policy)
- Honor the revision count you list in your package, on your terms and timeline.
- Ask for specific feedback before revising (budget, color, fit, brand preferences).
- Handle disputes directly and professionally. Contact StyldBy only for platform abuse or safety issues (not business disagreements).
Professionalism & Safety
- Keep all communication in the app when possible.
- Never request or store client card numbers or sensitive data.
- Use images and assets you have rights to; credit when needed.
- Don't guarantee stock, shipping, or outcomes you can't control.
